The Bamboo Stand Rehabilitation & Nursery Establishment training program was recently conducted at the MFI-FBI Jala-Jala Farmers' Training Center last March 2008. The program showcased bamboo as a major natural resource that has gainful economic and environmental returns. There are at least 5 training modules for bamboo that have been identified and will be given as upcoming trainings.  

MFI is a strategic partner of the Bamboo for Life Project as stipulated in the Memorandum of Understanding with the Rotary Club Makati Central, RCMC Foundation Inc., and Center of Excellence for Regional Cooperation.
